The shields are used for shipping and storage of 1" diameter disc sources. Surface radiation is greatly reduced eliminating the need for multiple boxes when shipping numerous Exempt Quantity sources.
This container has a 0.35" wall thickness and will hold up to 18 low activity disc sources.
With a wall thickness of 0.5'', this container is suitable for higher activity gamma sources. Holds up to 14 discs.
