PRIOR APPROVAL TO IMPORT SOURCES

International regulations will vary from country to country. Your local regulations may require you to receive prior authorization in order to import our sources into your country. Spectrum Techniques will require confirmation prior to shipping.

Failure to comply may result in additional shipping and/or storage costs incurred for packages not permitted to enter the country. These costs will be at the customer’s expense. Furthermore, local, national, and international regulations may restrict the purchase, storage, transport, use, or disposal of Spectrum Techniques radioactive sources. Please consult your local regulations to ensure compliance.

DISPOSING OF SOURCES OUTSIDE OF THE U.S.

Due to international and domestic regulations, Spectrum Techniques cannot accept the return of unwanted/used sources. If your country requires sources be returned to the manufacturer for end-of-life disposal, Spectrum Techniques has contracted with Philotechnics, LTD to facilitate this process.

NOTE: The end user is responsible for contacting, coordinating, and paying for the disposal.

Disposal of Spectrum Techniques’ sources, internationally, must be done so according to all local laws and regulations.
